For this campaign we explored tension, curiosity, silence, desire and a gaspy-quite-kind-of-mystery…
The intention was to push every line possible without offence. To explore the in-the between emotions, the thin line between vulgarity and beauty, contemplation and desire, the spaces between curiosity and control, depth and submission… We wanted things to pause, to linger..
I have always found Ajanee’s perspective on fashion ultra refreshing. Esp. with the engineering and re-engineering of garments, their approach to world-building, and the emotional language within their work. Because of this, I wanted this campaign to feel like an extension of their essence. An exploration of Ajanee as an identity.
