“The Carousel of Grief” - Choreo I Final
.
Grief is a deep, powerful feeling of sorrow that is traditionally broken down into five smaller stages:
-Denial
-Anger
-Bargaining
-Depression
-Acceptance
“The Carousel of Grief” tackles these five stages through an acapella tap piece where every dancer is in a different stage on a journey towards personal acceptance.

Thank you so much to my amazing cast
@sophiac.daly (denial/acceptance),
@ryleigh.todd (anger/acceptance),
@_katesummers (bargaining/acceptance), and
@dancing_hay (depression/acceptance) for diving head first into this crazy concept and for giving it your all every rehearsal. I’m so grateful for the four of you and truly couldn’t have done it without you. Looking forward to dancing with you all again soon. Love you guys so much!
