REWORLD explores the invisible entanglements between artificial intelligence, bodies, labour, memory, and the living world. Rather than imagining AI as something abstract or immaterial, this section approaches intelligence as an ecological and embodied process, shaped through relationships between humans, technologies, environments, and more-than-human systems. Through digital art, REWORLD invites us to rethink value beyond speed and efficiency; towards care, reciprocity, and sustainable coexistence. 📍 AKM Istanbul 🗓️ June 3–7 🎟️ Free #IDAF26 #Retell #REWORLD #DigitalArt #digitalartexperience

#IDAF26 #Retell #REWORLD #DigitalArt #digitalartexperience

REWORLD 3 - 7 June Atatürk Cultural Center Istanbul, Turkey AI isn't abstract but deeply physical. It runs on energy, water, and human labour. It's trained on our voices, movements, and memories. Far from disembodied, AI circulates through machines, environments, and living bodies. Thinkers like Haraway and Barad remind us that intelligence is distributed, shared between humans, technologies, forests, rivers, and nervous systems. What if we stopped measuring AI by speed and efficiency, and started measuring it by care, reciprocity, and connection?

UNDOMESTICATED 2020 Locument Original Soundtrack: André Júlio Turquesa _ MAXXI The National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Rome, IT In a period of forced social isolation, the growing dissociation and disbelief of current social structures and world dynamics, new forms of communities emerge to redefine domesticity as a response to global concerns - political, environmental and social. In an effort to transform their surrounding environment, intentional communities materialize, sharing a common vision, principles and values, they aim to reshape and redesign social principles by creating micro-environments from which emerge new domestic typologies. These groups redefine the concept of domesticity and the structure of communal living. Domesticity is a concept that goes beyond the four walls of a house, domestic space is a place of security, comfort and shared identity. Undomesticated is a documentary film that aims to portray new approaches to contemporary living. Focused on self-isolating and self-sustaining communities that propose an alternative approach to everyday life, the film aims to portrait the pursuit for a way of life that can reflect their vision of the world. Produced for the Architecture Film Summer School organized by MAXXI in collaboration with Copenhagen Architecture Festival part of Future Architecture, Co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. directed by: Locument original score: André Júlio Turquesa curated by: Pippo Ciorra and Alessandra Spagnoli curatorial assistance: Chiara Castiglia technical and scientific consultant: Francesca Molteni tutors: Ila Beka and Louise Lemoine, Jamina Cibic, Nina Fischer and Maroan el Sani, Olivo Barbieri and Daria Menozzi, Petra Noordkamp special thanks to: Josephine Michau, Copenhagen Architecture Festiva Miguel Braceli, Will Jennings, Sonja Lakic, MIES TV

Celebrating 25 Years of “Being a legend” And we couldn’t have done it, nor would we have wanted to, without our filmmakers, partners, supporters, friends, team and of course fans! So, what better way to kick things off than with a big thank you to everyone who sent their heartfelt congratulations to AFFR! Some filmmakers even sent in video shout-outs, and we have turned them into a mini reel that captures the overarching spirit. This anniversary edition is unlike any before. It is packed with premieres, debates, a new immersive programme, a 25-hour celebratory marathon and for the first time the #AFFRAwards25. And you are invited to join the celebration! Raise a glass with us to a quarter-century of architecture, film, and the city. See you tonight for the big opening. Doors open at 19:15 at Theater Rotterdam. PS. Wait for the cat, so cute! #AFFR25Years
