I am over the moon to announce that our film Out There has just been selected for... CANNES INTERNATIONAL FILM WEEK!!! 🥳🤩🥰 This is our first offical selection and boy is it a good’n! It’s not thee Cannes (the one everybody knows), but it runs alongside it and targets the same audience. A bit about the festival for anyone interested: “Unlike the industry-driven selections prevalent in Cannes, Cannes International Film Week takes a distinctively curated approach. Every film featured undergoes a rigorous selection process, ensuring a diverse and high-quality lineup that captivates audiences and industry insiders alike.” - A massive congratulations to the real stars of this film - our amazing cast and crew, without you this film would not have been possible! Ngā mihi 🌟

Pt1 | Te Wao Nui (2020) is really important to watch to understand more about protecting kauri. In this short doco, rongoā Māori practitioner Tohe Ashby uses mātauranga Māori to find answers to saving our last remaining kauri trees from disease. "Māori knowledge and Western science, they are not the same. They are not on the same path." - Tohe Ashby 📹 Director: Ngāriki Ngatae | Producer: Karen Sidney Watch the doco at the link in bio 🔗 #TaongaProtection #TiakiTaonga
