For 60 days in 2020, arborist Zane Wedding stood his ground to protect a grove of ancient trees in Avondale — a stand that changed the course of his life 🌲 Mangere-born and guided by the wairua of his tūpuna (spirit of his ancestors), Wedding’s protest led to arrest, jail time, and a deeper calling to activism rooted in whakapapa and whenua. @loadingdocs documentary ‘Tū Tonu’ traces his journey from champion tree climber and senior lecturer to protector of rākau, revealing how his connection to the natural world carried him through his lowest moments and reshaped his purpose. 💚 Watch the full doco via the link in bio. #nz #auckland #tereo #tereomāori #māori

2025 MERCI! What a wild, beautiful ride. February last year, I picked up my first Sony camera and start filming. I learned, failed, created and connected again and again. New projects, new people, same fire. Massive thank you to the directors, producers, agencies, production companies, friends and all the lovely people who trusted me with their productions in 2025. Bring it on, 2026 ✨

It’s been one year since the premiere of our film ‘Out There’, a great excuse to post some more pics I haven’t shared yet. Such an amazing evening!! At the premiere, I remember saying how much I loved the event, likening it to a wedding with so many friends gathering to celebrate what you love. Standing there in my white dress, another filmmaker said “looks like you’re married to your job.” I still don’t know what to make of that comment... It’s either the best or the worst thing ever 😂 But since then, balance and rest have become my best friends…which makes for a much better union. I’ll forever look back on this evening with such fondness 💗 Big ups to my kiwi gang - miss you all! Curious to see what this next chapter in bonnie Scotland will bring xx #workaholicsanonymous #marriedtothejob
