Home from the wastes and am recovering from ye olde dusty lung...but wow I think that was my favorite Wasteland, hands down 🖤
@preston_yarger got some incredible shots of the upgrades I made to my kit this year (thank you for the photos!!)
The mask was sculpted out of polymer clay and cured on a heat safe version of my face. The same was done with the skull plates on my head piece.
After the clay bits were complete, I then drilled my pilot holes, painted everything and added the hardware.
For the headdress, I sculpted the "panther sphinx" ears out of polymer clay with a aluminum wire inside of them to attach to my headband. From there I added chains, machine parts, blap casings, and weathered fabric for a nice glowing effect.
The mask and headdress were so incredibly comfortable, and the buckle system was so easy to take the mask on or off.
I also made a belt piece out of my last car's license plate, lighting chain, and leather hardware. Fun fact, you can instantly weather a license plate with a torch! Just be sure to do it in a well ventilated area with a respirator.

Howdy 🤠 Your favorite alien space cowboy is home from Neotropolis 🖤 It was such a great year and I'm missing it already. Still decompressing and resting, but here's a little peek at my finished look.
I made a new Cyberpunk style jacket this year and I can't wait to show you all the little details and layers that made this up. I also sculpted up some new ears and antenna. Lastly my hat got a pretty significant rework.
This was a very fun and satisfying costume to create. More to come sooooon.
