Here’s my fully custom Cyberpunk-inspired off-world mining costume I made earlier this year. So stoked to show more of this full kit to you all! This was several months of research and fabrication to build all the custom props and costume elements, like the helmet, pulse demon droid disabler, custom tech jacket, and more. Tons of overdyed equipment as well. So many kitbashed pieces went into this build and no 3D printing was used. Lots of hand sculpted or cast parts from molds I’ve done. Inspired by Cyberpunk, Red Faction, Titanfall, and more, this costume is one of my favorites I’ve ever done. I still need to go back and add all the armor panels to the shoulders! Let me know what you think! Original photo by @ynevrov , edit by me. #cyberpunk

How many creds did this guy take from you? I love my cyberpunk space gangster. One of my favorite builds yet, and was such a blast to wear out to @neotropolisevent this year. Really love how the whole fit came together, especially the finished form of my fully customized cyberpunk jacket. Some shots of my original Badlands Ripperdoc / Moisture Scavenger costume from @wastelandweekend earlier this year! I made this super modular with a ton of custom kitbashed parts. Some huge lightweight needle props really sealed the deal for me. I love making droids, and wanted the mask I made for this costume to emulate a nonhuman entity. Lemme know your thoughts! Behold, the elusive perfect stencil peel. I tried something new and very cursed with this armor panel - wrapping plastic in leather and painting it. I wanted to see how much more scratch resistant painted leather would be after final cure than HDPE, and it turns out it does super well. Survived a whole week in the desert without any chips or scratches. Might be a technique to explore more in the future, and more tests are always good to have. I really loved adding all these color accents to my desert cyberpunk costume, and I have a bunch more plans for future versions of this costume to really punch up the cyberpunk aspect while staying true to my original idea of a desert dweller. #cyberpunk #cyberpunkart #propmaker #cosplaycommunity #custompaint

I made a Cyberpunk phone concept - the egregiously corpo-named “FALCOR KX” data pad. I created this prop out of layered acrylic just before leaving for Neotropolis, and added a map of the event so I could easily give directions if I needed to. Honestly, it worked out great even in low light. The material is hyper fluorescent and really catches the light in the engraved areas. I’m still playing around with an optimized design for the frame, but I love the idea that it collapses on itself when not in use, so I’ll have to mock that up later too. I definitely want to make more of these props with a different screen design if anyone’s interested. Getting caught up here after a week or so of relaxing, and can’t wait to share some completed costume photos with you all!

Found the edge of the simulation. No CGI, just watching the desert sunset from the inside of my custom cyberpunk dust helmet. I finally finished the bulk of this helmet project and the visibility and air flow are fantastic. Perfect for hiking up a hill to catch golden hour. More on this build to come as I get settled after another great year at Neotropolis~ #cyberpunk #propmaker #costumemaker #cyberpunkaesthetic #techwear

GOLD 50K CREDZ are arriving soon. Sound off if you snagged one. These have to be my favorite original cyberpunk inspired props I’ve ever designed. It’s wild to see so many people using them for their own projects tbh. If you copped a 25K, they’re arriving in the same batch. Thank you all so much for your patience - as one person, it’s tricky to manage so many different things at once. I have a ton of ideas in the tank, and I’m stoked to get a few more out in the world for you all soon. Keep doing great things, and I’m always a message away if you have questions.

Neotropolis may be over, but the vibes were immaculate. Heres a first look at my finished (for now) desert cyberpunk costume, and just a few shots from this incredibly immersive cyberpunk event that we help put on every year. I’m still getting caught up over here after an amazing week, and I can’t wait to do it all over again. Huge thanks to everyone who came by our module at the @asteroidinn , hid away from the sun under our shade, saved up enough creds to spend on Un-Oh Energy Drinks, and more. Will hopefully be putting together a few more videos about this experience, but it’s always so hard to be on a phone when there’s so much happening around you. Until next time! I LIVED. Final costume test for the first iteration of my desert cyberpunk character! I’ve been working on this for months and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The custom helmet and armor just work so well together, especially with the big ol’ scavenger torque wrench I built out of an old camera body. I went back and forth on the color choices for this one, and all my custom dye and paintjobs totally brought all the elements together. All leatherwork patterned and sewn by me, and all kitbashing done with found, fabricated, and upcycled objects. I made it back safely from @neotropolisevent and had an amazing time. So great seeing everyone and meeting a good chunk of you here! Can’t wait to try a few different versions of this costume. #cyberpunk #propmaker #cyberpunkstyle #cyberpunkart #cosplaycommunity

Is footwear the most overlooked part of a costume? I customized this pair of motorcycle boots for an upcoming Dune/cyberpunk/Star Wars inspired costume I’ve been working on with a detachable leather ankle bandolier and strand of trophy “teeth.” I’ve always loved sci-fi/cyberpunk character designs in desert environments and I’m def excited to share the evolution of this costume with you all. I always feel like I spend so much time looking for good boots for the costumes I make. Finding the balance between comfort and style is tough, but you can really transform anything with layers and some paint. I loved the laceless design of these boots and the texture on the top of the feet - really looks straight out of a blade runner / tattooine environment. Having boots that zip is a total game changer, especially if you’re out in the desert. Speaking of, if you’re headed to Neotropolis, see you soon! Say hi if you see me. #propmaker #cosplay #cosplaycommunity #cyberpunkfashion

Quick material test on this cyberpunk-inspired data pad prop design. I designed this to be a map holder for our costumed cyberpunk events, but I’d love to get crafty with some low profile electronics embedded in it eventually. The UV glow is insanely strong and I honestly don’t even think I’d need LEDs with all the ambient light out there. Definitely gonna do a few versions of the screen portion and play with filling in some of the engravings. Would anybody be interested in these with a different screen? Working on a screw-together design to swap out screens easily so I can do several different colors to match the Credz, too. #cyberpunk #cyberpunkaesthetic #propmaker #cyberpunkart #cyberpunkstyle

What do you think of the color scheme? Just finished painting the rear plate on my custom desert cyberpunk helmet for an upcoming costume, and I’ve been hard at work on finishing the tubing and wiring. I’m so close to fully finishing this one, and just have a few more surprise details to iron out last minute. I have so much to share from this whole process, and I definitely appreciate your patience as I get caught up over here. I definitely want to do more helmets after building this one. I feel like I’ve come a long way since my first custom helmet build last year, and I love finding new ways to push the boundaries of the genre. #cyberpunk #cyberpunkaesthetic #customhelmet #propmaker #cosplay
