We wanted to take a moment to thank our community for attending our fundraiser. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the support and love from you all. A shoutout and congratulations to Eclectotron for their successful album release. Thank you for co-hosting last night’s event with us! Fantastic entertainment by Slowly Crushed and our own TV SpaceNik. It was a pleasure setting up shop with you Asteroid Inn, we’re looking forward to more at Neo. To our Losers, appreciate the year-round collaboration and hard work, each of you is what makes the Gentleman Loser what it is. Thank you to those guests and friends that stayed up last night tearing down the event too, it was a huge help to get out on time. That's right, you'll be able to thoroughly get your howdy on while completing quests, exchanging barter, and engaging in good old fashioned cosmic cowboy shinanigans. Have you ever seen an asteroid give their autograph? Well that changes today! Meet Asteronald, the mascot of the Asteroid Inn. Asteronald is a farm raised asteroid, sporting a pink cowpolk hat and a fiery personality. You can always find him at the Asteroid Inn or with the operators of the Inn, Saturn or Jupiter Nym. If you haven't already guessed...Farm raised asteroids on the Alpha-Void Z33 asteroid are a little "different". One of the quests at Neotropolis this year from a fellow faction was to obtain Asteronalds signature...almost everyone on that quest thought they were looking for a person...but to their surprise, it was a howdy space rock. Asteronald is a prop I made using hand carved floral foam, seal with wood glue, spray painted with shimmer paint, and dry brushed for that perfect rocky texture. The final ingredient was clearly love. Did you meet Asteronald or collect one of his face stickers? Tell me about your first impression!

Come check out the full build of the Asteroid Inn which debuted as an official faction at Neotropolis in April of this year! This has been something in the works for some time, with my soft launch last year, but this year I got the hands I needed to bring the full vision to life! I feel like the Asteroid Inn was perfectly at home in the main drag of a cyberpunk city. The front desk booth was made with two heavily modified plastic shelving units for easy transportation and set up, skinned with mesh grating and plywood paneling. We love a good modular set up! @justohl also made a super rad "inconvenience store" kiosk out of the same type of shelving unit and it turned out incredibly. We put a lot of love and hard work into arting and decorating everything up. It was fun to get creative on how to make things look cool but also break down easily. I got to also make ton Qf alien plants, tiny (juvenile) asteroids, and do a bit of digital engineering. All of this was built in a 10x10 dirt plot at the event in less than 24 hours before Neotropolis opened to the public. I am so proud of the little alien cyberpunk set we created, which I might add was a nice home away from home for the week. We were able to run quests, barter operations, engage in tne most rediculous of shenanigans, and help shelter folks from the elements of the Mojave. Thank you to everyone who came by and endured me with an obnoxious Southern accent as I role played lol. And thank you to everyone who lent us a helping hand for our first year as an official module since there were a lot of surprises. Were you able to visit the Asteroid Inn? The Asteroid Inn's first public debut outside of Neotropolis was a success! Last night we joined the @thegentlemanloserbar for their annual Ice Breaker fundraiser event...and wooooweee what an amazing time it was! It was so nice seeing so many familiar and new faces come by our little humble Asteroid Inn. The support was incredible and y'all helped fund our construction for @neotropolisevent 2025! We are so lucky to have so many folks hyped about our art and can't wait to show you all the upgrades we're working on to thoroughly "Yee Your Haw".
