In the quiet streets of Katsushika - Tokyo, bathed in traditions and status quo, a group of young people stand out. Tattoos, leather, dyed hair, they seem to contradict the untold rules of the location with every inch of their personnality, yet for a reason that cannot be explained, perfectly fit in. The series « 東京PUNK !!!! » (Tokyo PUNK !!!) tells the story of Daiyu, Kota & Jonghyun. Of those who decided to oppose the mainstream culture, express their nonconformity by creating their own rules. By forming this alliance, one that is beyond family, beyond blood ties. Moving as one and looking after one another no matter what. They are an untamable pack of wolves embracing their true nature. Yet, beyond their ferocious ouline lies something precious and warm. An inextinguible fire that binds them together.

We were forbidden to release this photo series because of divergent vision issues with the commissionner. But we all spent weeks working on it for free and it felt unfair to let it rot on our hard drives and do nothing about it. It might get deleted later.

Such a dream come true to shoot a rainy Kung Fu scene, a duplicating creative mind, a flying skater, a teleporting breakdancer and a rotating DJ. All that to express the idea of the mind being able to break boundaries and reach greater heights. 🦅✨

Welcome to HEAVEN CENTRAL SYSTEM SCHOOL for gifted angels. 👼🏻✨
I’ve been asked a lot how we made the Wings. They are 3D, we spent hours with @simux2000 and @raphael.00000 on the design, the position of the wings, how they should feel and be rendered so that it feels natural and poetic at the same time. Especially coupled with film photography.
For this second part, we also added real soft pastels onto the pictures so that it feels like School books you’d scribble on during class.

« NEW ANGELS » a story on @nylonjapan paper magazine - PART.1 👼🏻❤️🔥
At 11 I was obsessed with the anime « Vision of Escaflowne » and manga « Angel Sanctuary ». They both had a strong depiction of « Angels » in them, very different from the ideas of traditional baroque and religious concepts. Ever since I’ve always been fascinated by that image, the poetry around it and wanted to make it come to life in a some way.
From that ongoing feeling, « NEW ANGELS » was born. Giving birth to strong characters, badass angels at the fringe of a dreamlike reality.
