𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼! 𝗟𝗗𝗪’𝟮𝟲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟳 - 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿.
May 27th is fast approaching! The full programme is starting to be revealed next week bringing together designers, exhibitions and events across the city.
Now, we present our poster for 2026. Designed by communication designer & art director @joana_areal , the triptych explores repetition and cycles, balancing stability with moments of rupture, error and deviation. Precise yet dynamic, the composition evolves continuously, almost as if quietly breathing.
As illustrated in the poster, typography plays a pivotal role as, for Joana, the organisation of information is as important as its content: referencing Swiss design and more brutalist approaches, text and structure are the co-protagonists of the work.

Looking back at an incredible evening at Gabinete with @bamansureproject and @jecopalm - a night filled with honest conversations, new connections, and reflections on what it means to build a creative practice today.
That is exactly why After Hours exists - a place where people speak openly about building studios, surviving uncertainty, creating meaningful work, and finding others who understand the same ambition. What started as an idea by Ana Lia Santos (Designer and Professor) has grown into one of Lisbon’s most awaited monthly creative gatherings. Brought to life by @meinszeneviertel , @justine.murniece , @henriquesousacorreia .

This time at @dam.lisbon in conversation with @hamrei - the Anglo-Brazilian artist and designer whose sculptural furniture, lighting, and objects have been shaping a distinct contemporary design language between Lisbon and Europe.

During Lisbon Design Week 2026, we invite you to discover Imersa, an exhibition by Joana Teixeira.
Conceived as a piece of visual poetry, the installation explores imagination as a space of absolute freedom, where design becomes a threshold between the real and the dreamlike. It invites us to slow down the gaze and enter a dimension where the living room is no longer a physical limit, but a starting point for what does not yet exist.

During Lisbon Design Week 2026, we invite you to the presentation of The Art of Hosting, a living space created by Sofia De=Francesco in collaboration with MODULNOVA Lisboa.
The exhibition explores a new vision of living through clean geometries, tactile surfaces and handmade pieces, shaping an atmosphere where objects become part of everyday rituals.
Rooted in Sofia’s ongoing research into recycled materials and artisanal processes, including the Paper Derm technique, The Art of Hosting transforms table, light and object into elements of presence, contemplation and sharing.

Born from Sofalca, a Portuguese manufacturer of expanded black cork since 1966, Blackcork is a journey through innovative design rooted in one of Portugal's most distinctive materials. Founded in 2014, the brand explores the unique characteristics of expanded black cork, bringing together a new generation of creative voices under the direction of Toni Grilo.
A material long associated with construction and architecture, reimagined as a medium for timeless, sustainable design.
