Excited to share that I’m heading back to Parsons School of Design @parsonsschoolofdesign Thursday April 9th, in New York ❤️ I’ll be joined by my favorite traveling printmaker, Bill Fick @linobill , for an artist visit and hands-on workshops covering screen printing and linocuts.
We’ll be printing a special commemorative poster: Bill created the central linocut illustration, and I layered in the chaos with hand-drawn typography and color elements —students will get to print it themselves!
We’ll also dive into our inspirations, sketchbooks, and hopefully leave students with a glimpse of our artistic journeys. Huge thanks to Martin Mazora @martin_mazorra at Parsons for making this happen. Special thanks to @speedball_art for their generous sponsorship.
Bonus: this all lines up with #NewYorkPrintWeek, my absolute favorite printmaking festival!
