Going all the way back to 2012, this screen print is a collaboration between Pat Masterson and Carlos Hernandez. Originally hand drawn on mylar, the image was later burned onto a screen and hand printed.
What’s it all about? Honestly, just pure fun. Pat and Carlos started wondering what Buddy Holly might be doing in hell, and the whole thing spiraled into this wild, humorous, oversized print full of energy and absurdity. It wasn’t meant to be overly serious or overthought — just two artists laughing, experimenting, and pushing imagery around until something unforgettable appeared.
The print itself is massive, loud, and impossible to ignore. You can feel the spontaneity in it — the kind of collaboration where ideas bounce back and forth in real time, fueled by humor, curiosity, and the joy of making something ridiculous together. @electriccalavera@patrick.masterson1

This course is all about getting you familiar with the tools of the trade. You will learn everything you might need to design and create your own work at home. We will go through the process and equipment as well as various relief and mono printing techniques. I will show you how to transfer images, carve and print. Beginner friendly, all skill levels invited!

VOLUNTEERS WANTED! 🐊💚
As part of @discoverygreen Earth Day event on April 25th at 3:30pm @wolfbat will be hosting a procession of several 12ft puppets including a leading Mother Earth figure. From noon till 3pm paper masks of various plants and animals will be available to paint for participation. We are looking for volunteers to process with us, operate the puppets (easy to do) and make some noise. Drummers and the Free Radicals will be walking with us. All are welcome.
