This is your chance to see what the buzz is about š
Let me give you a heads-up: Makiās story is an emotional one and her journey isnāt the easiest, but her strength is inspiring.
When you watch MAKI on the 30th of August @didimuseum we hope you not only see her struggles but also feel her strength and resilience to move on.
Who are you coming to watch Maki with?
Today is the day, finally!
From juggling my day job to endless script conferences and countless calls, we poured our heart and soul into this Igbo series. It was challenging, but oh so worth it. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this project as a screenwriter and I can't wait for you all to watch the magic unfold on screen.

I grew up thinking my mum and grandmothers were doing too much with praying the rosary. We prayed it every day, and multiple times when travelling. If it were today, I would have said they were being performative. I also genuinely thought there was no way I could keep this up as an adult.
Today the rosary is a huge part of my faith journey and I strongly stand on the notion that the rosary is not a monotonous ritual or recitation, but a deeply contemplative prayer.

An interesting day at work for me usually means someoneās either about to have a bad day or is already deep in one. So I mostly pray for boring, regular days. Sadly, today was an interesting day at work.

I remember Saturday mornings in warri. We lived in a small, "face me I face you" compound. A lot happened on Saturday mornings but it was never anything new. The boy selling pap walked in with his tray of pap on his head exactly when my mother asked what we would have for breakfast, the neighbours threw insults at each other while queueing for the public toilet, the boy next door stamped his feet before leaving for work, my uncle came out of his apartment with a chewing stick in his mouth, and that's how the day begins.
I'm kidding, I didn't grow up in warri.
But Tagogho did and you can watch her story ā¤ļø (link @thisisfreeverse bio)
IKOY-IKO IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR STREAMING š„
Stream it now while our Producer/Director @sisi.danielz is feeling generous
They say it takes a village to make a film. Well, this one took the whole of Delta! š
When @sisi.danielz said, āThereās this story, ehnn...,ā I thought she was joking until she said 'I want to tell my people's story.' I knew then that she meant business.
After a few 'Should I really do this?' She brought Ikoy-Iko to life, and now itās hitting the big screen @afriff this year š„š„°
And yes, I wrote the script. The lines were checked with practically half of Delta State. š I'm not even joking š
Now, itās time for you to see the result. So join us and witness the magic we made.
