Thank you to everyone who joined us in April and May for our workshops with Nastia Svarevska @ana11sva and Lina Ivanova @linavanova ! Both were a part of the ‘Under Construction’, a monthly series curated by Alisa Oleva @alisaoleva . These workshops invite artists and writers from diasporic backgrounds to think about the theme ‘under construction’. What happens when we move homes and we change languages? What remains unspeakable, what emerges in the gaps of translation? How are new identities constructed, and how can poetry express what otherwise remains unspeakable? Through poetry and shared reflection, participants explore what hides in the cracks and what haunts our ideas of ‘home’. Keep an eye on our feed and subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear about the upcoming workshops! 1-3: ‘Growing Home’, a workshop led by Lina Ivanova. Coming up this week | Growing Home: Planting as Language with Lina Ivanova Thursday 7 May 2026, 7–9 pm Ahead of our workshop with Lina @linavanova this Thursday, we invite you to take a glimpse into her past projects, including a long-term public art project at Croydon’s Reeves Corner with Turf Projects, alongside her personal practice of gardening. Drawing on personal narratives of migration, memory, and belonging, this intimate indoor workshop offers participants an opportunity to collectively reflect on our relationships with the natural world, and on how nurturing living things mirrors the care we extend to ourselves and one another. Attendees will plant seeds and seedlings to take home and, through open discussion and hands-on activity, create living objects that will continue to grow and evolve beyond our time together. Music: ‘Getting into the Gardening’ by DRYAKOBY @dryakoby (2026). #PushkinHouse #PushkinHouseWorkshop

Drawing The Space Inside My Hand with Lina Ivanova [@linavanova ] ✏️✋ Sat 16 May 11am-1pm Free & open to all! Drawing The Space Inside My Hand invites participants to explore drawing as a sensory and embodied practice. Taking place during the exhibition Tending, the workshop uses observational drawing to deepen ways of sensing and feeling. Participants will draw from the ceramic pieces in the show, as well as their own hands and each other’s, considering the hand as our first tool for making and tending. The session encourages slow looking, presence, and learning through the body. This workshop is open to the public and no prior drawing experience is required. 🔗 Link to upcoming events in bio!

Coming up in May | Growing Home: Planting as Language with Lina Ivanova 🌾 Thursday 7 May 2026, 7–9 pm We are very excited about the upcoming workshop with multidisciplinary artist Lina Ivanova, happening in a couple of weeks! The workshop is presented as part of our current ‘Under Construction’ series, curated by Alisa Oleva. Lina’s practice focuses on notions of place, heritage, and the experience of migration. Recently, she facilitated a long-term public art project at Croydon’s Reeves Corner, a site that has been inaccessible since the 2011 riots. By working with local communities to plant wildflowers on the disused land, her work explored what it means to bring life back to a contested space and cultivate a sense of belonging. The project was organised by Turf Projects @turfprojects . Building upon this connection between planting and placemaking, Lina will bring this methodology to Pushkin House. Participants are invited to explore planting as a form of care, communication, and homemaking. Through discussion, sharing, and practical activity, attendees will plant seeds and seedlings to take home, creating living objects that continue to grow beyond the workshop. 📘 We are also glad to share that a limited number of publications by @turfprojects documenting Lina’s Reeves Corner project will be available for purchase in our bookshop. 🔗 Book your tickets via the link in bio. #PushkinHouseLondon #LondonWorkshops

For the second workshop in the ‘Museum of Connection’ series, artists Georgia Clemson and Lina Ivanova invite participants to slow down and reflect on how we move through the world, and how our movements connect us to others. Together, participants will explore movement slowly and consciously, offering a pause from the fast pace of deadlines, to-do lists, and everyday routines. Through guided activities and group collaboration, gestures and shared poses will be transformed into cyanotype prints, an experimental photographic process that uses light and shadow to create vivid blue images. As a participant, you will also have the opportunity to contribute your work to the Museum’s growing archive, a living monument to community created through shared time, attention, and collaboration. 🎟️ ‘The Museum of Connection’ will take place on Saturday 9 May at 3pm. Space is limited. Follow the link in bio to book your place. #cyanotypeworkshop #londonworkshops #workshoplondon #londonartevents #londonevents
