As the spring slowly creeps its way back into the soil, GPO finds fresh energy in this new era to root itself in your community once again. Yes, we’re here and bringing you another much needed intentional event! The world is turning faster than any of us could’ve imagined in 2026, and with that comes its challenges. We can’t help but notice that all of our friends and family are experiencing hardship right now. Personally, and some of which has been brought on by the oppressive administration in the U.S. The ethos of @goodpeoplematcha is community, connection, and play. When we don’t have access to basic rights, survival becomes the priority. Being able to live full and complete lives without the fear of persecution is something we all deserve. So, this event has been crafted around giving back to a couple of communities who need as much love as we can give– @undocumentedwomensfund + @transyouthequality . Through these donations, we’ll be able to support mutual aid for undocumented groups in NYC and families with trans kids finding necessary educational and medical support in states where that’s effectively been banned. While creating space for these important causes, we also want to give a little something back to you. We welcome you to share your voices during an open mic session where the themes are oneness and finding something that you thought was lost. Accepting all forms of writing, songs, and improvisational pieces! Friends, family, and lovers, pull up! Link for rsvp and address is in the bio 💗🍵 April 19th Cafe Hours: 12 - 4:30pm Open Mic: 1:30pm - 2:30pm Our fearless host: @lilygetslost Poster design: @0nlyfw0gz

Sport has always been a source of unity and belonging, but that freedom to participate is now at risk for all. Today, we highlight the visibility and solidarity for trans and gender diverse people around the world. This is more significant than ever, given the recent announcement from the International Olympic Committee, which puts a blanket ban on trans women from competing in their correct category (the women’s category), and introduces mandatory genetic sex testing (which impacts ALL women, especially intersex and racialised women). Let us be clear: this new policy is a result of widespread anti-rights, fascist and fundamentalist narratives, and political decisions that we have seen on the rise in recent years across the world.  Now, it's time for our collective resistance, advocacy, and allyship. We must stand strong and say together this Trans Day of Visibility, and on all days, that trans and gender diverse folk are deserving of dignity, participation, and the right to participate in sport.

today, my weird erotic sapphic speculative fiction story “Our House” is out in the world! link in bio 👾 👽🛸✨ this comes out on the heels of returning from @awpwriter conference… the next step (?!) in taking myself seriously as a writer! scary/exciting/scary ahhhh so grateful for all the incredible humans i had the privilege to meet & re-meet—radical publishers, activist agents, trans & queer writers/readers, writers ending shame & stigma on mental health & mental illness… all truly doing gods work -thank you thank you for all you do and more - both what’s seen and what’s not! coming away from AWP feeling refreshed, renewed, inspired to keep on chip chip chipping away at my manuscript(s), with the knowledge and reassurance from so many incredible published writers to just keep on going and believing in yourself. that even on the hardest of days where you feel like there is truly no point/hope, to remember that your art matters, that your story matters, your radical politics matter, and that your work will reach the folks it’s meant to reach one day. I look forward to that day, but also accepting that these things take time, so for now, am putting it all out into the universe. that telling stories, as our ancestors have been doing since day, is what we’re meant to be doing. it feels so special to be able to put all that i’ve learnt through activism and community organising into joyful, weird, and ridiculous narratives, which press at the topics i care most about, through the pure pleasure of writing and reading stories! if anyone is interested in work on sapphic friendship breakups & mental illness narratives (think You Exist Too Much x Girl, Interrupted) and/or messy complicated erotic queer poly stories (think Bad Feminist x Ethical Slut x Detransition, Baby) - lmk! i am so so more than wide open to readings, collabs, pods, agent convos, pub chats and more! dm me/get in touch :) p.s. also looking for readers for workshopping my work - dm me friend if you're interested!

hi future me: here are some of the silly little side quests you went on in 2025 simply bc you felt like it 💞 tldr; do the thing & do it in collaboration with those you love and respect - told myself that each week I would go to at least one creative event that inspires me - opened my living room weekly for ancestral tea parties (as your grandmothers before you had done) - with zero prior film experience, began embarking on @hot_and_wholesome_documentary and filming lesbian oil wrestling, tboy wrestling and the @dapperq N.Y. Fashion Week Show - took beginner sewing lessons with @plantxzaddy bc fun - co-hosted Let’s Talk about Sex Baby workshop with @sophduj0ur - wrote a short erotic film overnight with @sayidatic then filmed it the next day because why the hell not, - started @the_mental_zine Substack interviewing friends about their experiences of mental illness - campaigned for Mamdani - acting debut as extras in @ahmbakrin ’s film with pals - hosted Root & Resist Fundraiser for @gazamutualaid & @glits_inc for my 30th with music, readings, pottings and more - co-hosted life drawing at home with @ayannameansflower for Gaza & trans rights and modelled with my cats - co-hosted Root & Bloom - a retreat for tender writers just 'cos the idea popped up in my head and @junnotjune was down to make it come to life with me!! - transformed into 2 flat men - again with my co-conspirator @junnotjune (no, will not explain) - writing & performing! went to weekly writing group with Hivemind, did 3 readings of my fiction in NYC for the first time at @thecusp_series @aaww_nyc @herbalsupplementsnyc , and 2 publications (one nomination!) in @rejoindermagazine and @thirdplacezine :)) Conclusion: IT'S BEEN REALLY FUN! more of this chaotic creativity in 2026 and thank you to everyone who indulged me, jumped on board, or attended one of my events or fundraisers, I so very appreciate you humouring me :)) let's do it again?
