Model Casting NYFW Runway LGBTQ Fashion
For Trans Dat of Visibility, we are amplifying and celebrating the incredible style and power voices of the trans models, activists, creators, and fashion trailblazers featured in “dapperQ Style: Ungendering Fashion.” Be sure to follow their Instagram and other social media platforms and support trans voices and organizations that continue to fight for trans liberation everywhere. 🏳️⚧️

In celebration of Women’s History Month, dapperQ is highlighting some of our favorite fits from queer and trans women athletes.
These are 13 fire looks from athletes who show us that performance and personal expression go hand in hand.
While this list is not exhaustive, it’s a reminder of the creativity, confidence, and impact that queer and trans women bring to every arena they step into.
We know there are so many more icons out there, so we’re opening the floor:
👇🏽 Tag your favorite queer and trans women athletes whose style we should know.

We hear you and we love that you want to model for dapperQ! We KNOW you have what it takes. That said, the dapperQ staff does not cast models for our annual NYFW show at Brooklyn Museum. There are over 80 models walking for 6-10 designers and we want to ensure that the designers cast models who are available for each separate designer’s fittings, meetings, shoots, etc.
We *do* cast for smaller events (stay tuned) and we also accept submissions for fashion and travel features to be published on our digital magazine and social channels. *Email us your submissions.*
We recommend you start or continue your modeling journey through queer-owned casting agencies, such as @studmodelproject
We are rooting for you! We are all rooting for you!

Exhausted by the lack of devoted queer spaces in NYC, Taiwanese-American sommelier Ren Peir and queer Black F&B creative Trent co-founded BABE in 2024, a pop-up wine bar pouring culture, care, and community into every glass, so much so that every BABE is event offers non-alcoholic wine selections as well.
What started as a love letter to LGBTQ+ wine lovers now sells out in an hour.
For Black History Month and Lunar New Year, @dapperQ raises as glass to @babewinebar and intersectional queer futures they are building together. 🖤🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏮 #dapperQ #BABENYC #wine #nawine

During this season of reflection, community, and spiritual grounding, we celebrate designers who hold all their identities boldly and create space for the rest of us to do the same.
