💛 yellow things! I learned how to crochet my first granny squares while visiting the @yarncafeyyj with my friend!
💜 purple things! this blueberry smoothie tasted like blueberry pie!! and beacon hill park has these beautiful purple flowers blooming
🌸 spring snowfall— that’s what I call flower petals falling from the trees this time of year
💐 time with family (mother’s day is always a good excuse to hang out with my mom) flowers are from @seaberrygarden
🪟 quiet time at home (preferably with ☕️+🐻)
🚲 exploring @cookstreetvillage which is our new neighbourhood! learning the best spots and third spaces
🍫 a little dark chocolate on ny smoothie bowl because my body doesn’t make its own chocolate— and these at home tacos were 🤤

This is a hill I will die on— especially in 2026! For the love of all that is good and true PLEASE, GO OUT TO COMMUNITY EVENTS 💛💛💛 You will NOT regret it! I started going to community events about this time last year and it has changed my life for the better. I have met so many like minded, good people that are now my friends— just by going to events in my area 🌟 I started using social media to see what was going on in my city and (here’s the really important part) I went out to them! Usually by myself! And I talked to the people who sat next to me, basically! You may not meet your new BFF at every event you attend, but hey, you just might!! And regardless, being around new people and supporting local gatherings is such a net positive. I truly think it is what we need so much more of 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

1️⃣ We had lunch *and* breakfast at @grays_cafe 🥣 We loved the atmosphere and that they had lots of vegan options (we are vegetarian leaning and mostly dairy free)
2️⃣ Can’t visit Sidney on a beautiful day and not walk the pier and harbour area!! 🌊
3️⃣ Found ourselves at @hansellandhalkett while exploring local shops 🕯️ Bought some candles and met Dave their shop dog!! 😭🫶🏼
