Something precious in these moments, floating through pools of shadow and finding pockets of light. Loved the direction for this impromptu movement on the drive home. Thank you my love, for always seeing the light @slowth

I have been finding such joy in anchoring into the art of photography/videography lately, hereās some test shots with my new camera the #fujifilmxs20 with some video if your scroll through.
When we finished building the yurt (many years ago) I remember it was a full moon and going to sleep at night in there for the first time, I was in awe watching the way the moonlight slowly traversed over the inside through the skylight. Much the same with the sun, and as the seasons change so does their course that graces the home each day and night.
Being so in love with life itself Iāve gone through the many stages of capturing and the rejection to capture or document these truly precious moments, places and people over the yearsā¦
I am at a very peaceful place with realising my passion for the art of storytelling in a visual landscape and stepping into the expansion of what that means. My father having been a photographer for over 30 years I really feel him with me at the moment and something in me feels so right about taking it into my own hands.

The worldās most deadly blooms ;
Angelās Trumpet // The Sorcererās Flower
Brugmansia, a relative of Datura and part of the Solanaceae family, carries a haunting beauty as one of the worldās deadliest flowers.
Native to the tropical regions of South America, particularly along the Andes Mountains in countries like Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, Angelās Trumpet has a long history of ritual and spiritual associations.
Brugmansia contains highly toxic alkaloids that causes delirium and hallucinations, sometimes leading to dangerous behaviour and, in many cases, death.
Among cultures of the Andean highlands, including the Muisca, historical accounts suggest it held a place within spiritual and ceremonial traditions connected to death and the unseen world.
I share this with deep respect for the Indigenous cultures who carried this knowledge, and as a reminder that the intelligence of plants has long been understood in ways modern culture is only beginning to remember.
What fascinates me is that plants like this often appear almost like āweedsā in our landscapes. In permaculture, when a plant repeatedly shows up somewhere, itās usually because the conditions welcome it, soil disturbance, warmth, moisture, or the quiet niches where certain species thrive. Nature is always responding to itself.
Even when we never touch or consume a plant, we can still relate to it. Observing its form, breathing in its fragrance (this one with upmost caution) sitting quietly nearby, or simply acknowledging its presence allows a kind of relationship that doesnāt disturb the plant or put us at risk.
Some plants remind us that nature holds immense power, beauty, medicine, and danger woven together.

Evening walk giving new specimens unlocked, curious curious!!! And rose apples yum, Syzygium Moree my sweet heart Iāve been watching you for some years now, your flowers are ecstatic and your fruits are so fun too, your bark and leaves hold medicinal properties, you are very rare in the wild, though we have a few of you in town here!! Fascinated by what tree cuttings I could make bonsai out of, and maybe attach tiny orchids to, maybe a fig would do!!! But Iām gonna try this freaky spikey one (silk floss tree) with the hibiscus tiger looking bloom cause why not try something outrageous and see.
I love plants
Victim - Freedom - Freedom #genekey55
What traps do we lay for ourselves that keep us from attaining our highest potential // freedom??
The Dragonflyās Dream ššš
Dragonfly ; A creature that lives first in water (emotion, density) and then becomes air (perception, light).
We are often our own captors, weaving invisible chains from fear, expectation, and identity. Yet freedom is not a distant shore, it is the unbound space inside, waiting for us to stop negotiating with the tides of our emotions.
Like the dragonfly, we rise, not by fleeing the water, but by changing the way we see it. The light that dances on our wings is the light we have always carried.
