Itâs funny how Oz rap doesnât really fuck with me.
But when you look at what I doâŚ
Iâm probably more hip-hop than most of it.
Because rap and hip-hop arenât the same thing.
Rap became an industry.
Charts, algorithms, personas, trends.
Hip-hop is a culture.
Storytelling.
Truth.
Community.
Speaking on whatâs really happening around you.
Hip-hop was never meant to be comfortable.
It was meant to document that areas struggle, survival, and transformation.
So if I doesnât fit neatly into the âOz rapâ scene, thatâs fine with me.
Because Iâm not chasing the sound of the moment.
Iâm chasing something older than that.
Something real.
And real recognise real.
