What a weird, nebulous time. Major takeaways for the past month:
1) Join our newsletter. Thatâs where weâll update yâall on availability when I can comfortably open up dates * link in bio
2) Made the decision to move out of the studio. I simply donât have enough hours in the day to maintain clients, the studio, and help to take care of my family.
3) Not currently accepting new clients.
4) Existing subscription client services are paused. Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility in this wild, unpredictable time.

Iâve always really loved photography, but one of the first times that light (and how I like to use it) really clicked for me was in one of my college photography classes.
My professor complimented my use of light in a portrait that I had turned in for a grade. It was honestly good luck that it looked so nice because I donât think I properly knew what I was doing at the time.
But I really took what he said to heart; I then noticed how the light was so gracefully falling across my subjectâs face, and thatâs when things really started to make sense for me.
No matter what weâre shooting, we make sure itâs captured in its best light.

One thing we do for flat lays that need it: straighten that sucker up. You didnât invest all of that time, emotion, thought, and money into your designs to get crappy photos back.

There is something about the subtle texture of film that feels timeless. It reminds me to slow down and see the beauty in small details.
So looking forward to shooting more portraits on film in the new year âď¸
