It's #WorldEarthDay 🌍🌱🌊
Here I am, in the middle of #mangrove forests in Kilifi County in #Kenya, courtesy of @bahari_hai & the @videoconsortium - working on sth exciting 😃
Over the last few months of production, I have come to learn and truly appreciate the mangroves as being "the lungs of our planet" and home to countless species. Among many helpful things, they "tell you" what's going on in the ocean and are considered the 'indicators' of what happens in there.
It's so sad that they're endangered and shout out to the @bahari_hai team who tirelessly work towards their conservation and of the whole marine ecosystem as well 🙌🏾
So maybe in our own individual small or big way, we can all get inspired and take action and be part of #thegreenrevolution 💪🏾
