Whirlwind of a year, honored and thrilled to be joining colleagues, amigas, and Wonder Women of Latin Music. These Queens in many ways have made significant contributions to the music industry. Their drive, resilience and tenacity are the forcé of advocacy for our creatives, producers, artists, executives and countless others beyond music.
The @thelamc created this celebration of Wonder Women back in 2020 during a time filled of so much uncertainty. I’m an alumni of that year and missed my annual visit to NYC seeing everyone in person. Spring has me thinking about NYC .. @rubio at @lincolncenter - part of Summer for the City and @ruidosafest - still doesn’t feel real saying it out loud. I’ve been in this game a long time and there are certain confirmations that hit differently… this was one of them.
Ruidosa Fest led by @franciscamusic has always been about intention- women, LGBTQIA + voices , community and to see Rubio step into that setting feels right on every level.
My heart was full the day this came through and the heartfelt call with @rodrigdi . NYC Summer is coming 🔥and this one is special.
Watching these come back to life every season never gets old.
I step outside and everything is doing exactly what it’s meant to do—growing, blooming, taking its time. It reminds me to slow down, to be present, and to trust the process a little more. It’s simple and it brings me a real kind of happiness . 💫✨

There are moments when you can feel something shifting — and this was one of them.
Three major U.S. markets to begin 2026 — @mercuryloungeny New York w/ @noiagisela@lh_schubas Chicago w/ @victorinternet and @theparamountla Los Angeles w/ @angelicagarcia — @rubio first-ever headlining tour. A new single. A new album. And rooms filled with people who chose to show up.
NYC and Chicago sold out — even on a freezing Monday in Chicago — which made it even more meaningful. It wasn’t about convenience, it was about connection. Los Angeles closed it beautifully, surrounded by friends, colleagues, and a diverse audience that reminded us why we do this.
Watching an artist step fully into her own is emotional. Especially in a season where everyone is promoting and competing for attention — and yet the momentum was undeniable.
Grateful to @famacollective team for trusting the vision and pushing until showtime. Just the beginning.

I met Milk through Angie. @meccamalone .
She had a label before the Latin urban wave fully hit — signing artists, building something ahead of its time. When I stepped into that world — @toyselectah@eldusty@milkman@djhappycolors — it felt like family. Hustling. Dreaming out loud. Collaborating. Raising the bar together.
Milk wasn’t just talented — he was a connector. A gentle giant with that Regio accent and a natural spitfire who always spoke his mind. When he walked into a room, you felt him. When he loved you, you knew it. If he believed in you, he made you believe in yourself harder.
It’s taken me time to write this because the news shocked me — I had just arrived in NYC . I had texted with Dusty when I got word how ill he was and I could sense his pain.
I’ve been reading all the tributes, and so many focus on the career. The credits. The success.
But those who really knew him know his greatest gift wasn’t just what he built.
It was how he made people feel.
He didn’t just chase dreams — he activated them in others. He made you feel seen. Special. Capable of more. And above all, he was Angie’s @meccamalone person — her best friend, her brother, her travel buddy, her confidant. That human depth? That’s the part headlines don’t capture.
Milk didn’t just leave a catalog.
He left courage in people’s hearts. I’m thinking of his family, his chosen family , my sis @meccamalone & all the names he tatted on his scalp..
And that kind of legacy doesn’t fade. 🤍

January 2026 - This month I changed my energy, my mindset, and the way I work—setting clearer boundaries and releasing what drains me.
Through quantum energy healing and Reiki, I cleared layers I didn’t realize I was still carrying. Grieving in silence.. January feels like a breath of fresh air, born from saying no and walking away from what no longer resonates. I sleep better, feel lighter, and trust that what’s meant for me is already aligned…
