Had the best time at the 2025 ASCAP Screen Music Awards!
Always fun to reunite with the greatest composers working today. And lovely to celebrate my Elizabeth Taylor score being nominated for Best Documentary Soundtrack of the Year. Now back to work for the next one!
Chef’s Table: Noodles is out now!!
Truly a dream project to score. Baby Logan would be freaking out right now as I’ve watched this show since it first launched a decade ago.
Please go watch the FUNKE episode and indulge in beautiful Italian pasta.
I cannot thank you enough @brimcgi and @supperclubstudios for believing in me and bringing me on for this ride. Here’s to many more!
EMMY FYC : Elizabeth Taylor
Outstanding Music for a Documentary
Thank you again for your consideration for my score for Elizabeth Taylor. Here’s a snippet of the orchestra recording the very final cue in the film — live strings, winds and harp in true golden age fashion.
Although difficult to summarize her life in a single piece, I was always moved to tears at the end of the film. This is my response.

Two days left for @ascap members to vote for the Composers Choice Awards!
Really honored to have my score to @hbodocs Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes, nominated for “Documentary Score of the Year” alongside some brilliant talent…
Daniel Herskedal was the voice of the ocean for Ángel León’s Chef’s Table episode in the latest season of Chef’s Table. His airy brass textures took on the wispy ebb and flow of the sea and the emotion of Ángel’s cooking.
Streaming now on Netflix.
Music by Logan Nelson.
Season 7 of Chef’s Table is out now! I had the honor of scoring the Angel Leon episode…
When @brimcgi first approached me about the episode and told me of Angel’s obsession of the sea, I knew I had to bring the music into that oceanic world. I immediately called up @danielherskedal whose brilliant airy brass textures I first heard in The Last Black Man in SF. We worked to create deep, textures with layered brass sounds to tell Angel’s powerful and emotional story of his restaurant in Spain. Chef’s Table is out on Netflix now!
Just some late night recording with the best.
THE LAST REPUBLICAN premiered at TIFF and features the story of congressman Adam Kinzinger.
Had the honor of working with the brilliant Steve Pink on this one who also happens to be the esteemed director of the Hot Tub Time Machine franchise (and brilliant shows like Cobra Kai).
And now for my THIRD and final project at this year’s Tribeca. The Stanford Prison Experiment: Unlocking the Truth. For NatGeo with Muck Media.
Had so much fun with @julietteeisner and @alexbraverman who gave me the space to get so so weird. Literally bought so many baby toys and combined them with Wendy Carlos Moog vibes. Throw in the brilliant percussion of @bobak____ and some gamelan strips and bam! You have this dark, fucked up, rhythmically playful contraption of a score. Hope you enjoy!
