Spent a wonderful week with @jakestangel & Crew for this Verizon rebrand project. Scroll through for full credits.
I used my trusty Accsoon TX & RX system to keep video village live throughout half a dozen locations.
Fortunate to work with the best in the field!
Repost from photographer @marcus.chi
When I was in high school, I caddied every summer. I was a part of a scholarship program that took kids from the inner city and assigned them to different country clubs throughout the North Shore of Chicago. I took the train every week for an hour from the South Side of Chicago, and lived on campus at Lake Forest College. That experience was huge in helping me see life past the boundaries of my neighborhood. It was also my first job, and how I saved for my first computer that ultimately led to photography. So a huge full circle moment to now help @nike relaunch golf with some of the best players in the world.
Big thanks to everyone involved in this. The days were long, hot, and I got very dirty for some of these angles but it was worth it!

“Photo sessions require, for me, a surrender of self, and it becomes a collaboration between the photographer and the style team and of course the goals of the magazine, and I’m always in conflict about it. I’m 66 years old and I have always struggled with other people’s ideas of who I am and what I should and could look like. This was no different and I arrived grumpy and stayed grumpy for a minute until I shot the first frame with @robertascroft and immediately knew I was safe and that we were able to explore the moment. Mood boards and preconceived or pre-digested ideas are fine when you don’t know what to do, but this became freeform and jazz and will go down as one of my favorite shoots ever.”

I’ve spent my whole career preparing for moments like this —we created these on the fly… Our result? A mix of playfulness, drama, style, and effortless cool. She brought it all. A whirlwind seven looks in four hours including glam by the dream team. Finally we get to show you a glimpse of what we created together. Thanks Jamie Lee for the fun day.
