A year ago, my brother and I became owners of a dispensary in North Hollywood. I stepped in as Chief Creative Officer at
@hineighbornoho , and have been a little MIA on this platform while we’ve been building this business, alongside continuing to grow my filmmaking practice.
A couple weeks ago, we had our official brand launch for Hi Neighbor and unveiled a beautiful mural by
@thejonmoody , which was a labor of love for this community.
After months of working with the LA County Department of Cultural Affairs to get the mural permitted and officially registered, we were honored with a certificate by our Councilmember Adrin Nazarian
@cd2losangeles for contributing to the neighborhood’s beautification. That moment meant a lot.
Our goal with this shop is to create something that brings art, culture, and community together, and this moment felt like a meaningful step in that direction.
Special thanks to
@plenazotribe for bringing the good music vibes, and thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, and even got a tattoo in the process! We will be having many more events at the shop, mark your calendars next for 4/20! 💚
We’re located at 10842 Magnolia, next door to the Ralphs in the NoHo Arts District. Come visit us for your plant medicine needs or even just to say “Hi, Neighbor!” We’re just getting started! 🌿
