what started as a radio show back in 2022 by
@lexaceli aired on
@moonglowradio.fm was a motive to stylize the sounds and memories correlated with the upbringing and environment of the 818. With its eclectic force and nature that the valley holds many walks of life and understanding of adversity-
@kiimbizzle and
@lexaceli came together to expand chulas in the valle into something bigger: to showcase 818 chulas among all mediums and stories, something we felt missing in this patriarchy.
think of this like a little digital diary, spread, dedication, and letter to all aspirations and accomplishments that fem & queer chulas could render into one space- for our community and ourselves.
we hope you enjoy in many ways what we tend to cater and create- for you always in mind
