Absolutely loved working on these new songs and witnessing the bands ever evolving progression. They push the boundaries of what they do with every new release and I'm always grateful to help see their vision through in the production.

Recently made some big changes to my mix room and decided to strip back the setup in front of me which naturally sent me straight back down the acoustic treatment rabbit holeā¦
After many hours of measuring, moving things around, and tweaking positions, Iām finally really happy with the EQ response on REW. It really shows how powerful the @kii_audio_gmbh Three monitors are and how much control they give you over the low end.
Still a bit of low-end ringing to tighten up at the back of the room, but once thatās sorted I think this space is going to sound absolutely ridiculous.
Prince Of Failure (@prince.of.failure ) - the new self-titled, studio album from Daniel Tompkins (@rockwithdan )(TesseracT) and Paul Ortiz (@chimpspanner ) is set for release on Kscope on 19th June

Musically, the album develops the atmosphere of Daniel Tompkinsā earlier solo work into darker, more reflective territory. Paulās spacious arrangements, electronic textures and powerful guitar work sit alongside intimate, close-mic vocals, creating a strong sense of immediacy without sacrificing the dynamic scope associated with Tompkinsā progressive background and work with TesseracT.
The decision to release the record under the name Prince of Failure reflects the collaborative identity of the project and separates it from Tompkinsā previous roles. It allows the work to exist on its own terms, without reference to past expectations. The Prince of Failure now stands as an official creative partnership between Tompkins and Ortiz, a shared vision with long-term intent.
Prince of Failure will be released on limited cream vinyl LP, classic black vinyl LP, CD and digitally.

A fresh little revamp in here for creative FX and synths. All patchable and synced for seamless integration with the Moog, Oberheim or any other synth or pedal super fast.
Sometimes this stuff can really inspire creativity on records and there's just something awesome about twisting knobs and reacting to what you're hearing in real time that you just can't beat!
āQue du noirā is perhaps the darkest and most intense song we have ever written. When it first took shape, I (Isa) couldnāt make it through a single take without breaking down. Every time I sang the lyrics, I was overcome with emotion.
Written in French, the song explores loss and the loss of a love so deep it once felt all encompassing. It was born in Mykonos, Greece, during one of the warmest, most light drenched weeks of my life. A striking contrast to the darkness it carries within.
āHallowedā is a reflective, evolving, ambient inspired piece that opens with a spoken poem.
It unfolds gently, like the perfectly synchronized heartbeat of a new and hopeful life. Intimate, tender, and full of quiet promise.
