Music Video for Messiah by @downandoutaus
A super ambitious concept that we pulled off in a short window. Pushing creativity, problem solving, communication, and concept.
A lot of it was shot in studio, with a combination of ‘proper’ video cameras and my iPhone. A lot of it shot by the band themselves, from various times and places around the world!
I spent a long time editing, using basic VFX and a lot of stock footage to try and merge everything into a cohesive structure - and I’m pretty happy with the result!
A huge thankyou to the band for having me on board for this one. Credit to everyone who helped film phone content, put their children up for sale, and any involvement in this at all. Team effort!
I definitely need a more powerful computer, and some bigger and faster hard drives…

Captured a stunning song for @kuiperband last year and I’m so excited to share it now!
Producing visuals that matched the quality and mood of the song was a challenge I was eager to tackle.
I wanted this to be different from any sort of live footage done before, using various techniques and editing styles to blend real life with a more ‘cinematic’ look - as well as incorporating a studio shoot to create an overall story to why this video is here.
Inspired by the amazing stage visuals by @joe_fuchsen I also ran the whole video through a CRT television from the 1980s, then filming the screen and blending it with the original video to add texture, effect, and depth.
A huge thanks to @luke.chapo for coming in last minute to film another one of my mad ideas.
Special thanks to @tarshascoolfilms and @tcmccawley for filming the set with me.

It was an insanely interesting, but fun, time working with @sungaattack for his run of shows at the @adlfringe this year.
Watching him work the crowd and adapt his show each night to make it even funnier, seeing the keen fans lining up to do a shoey, and seeing a family of Irish guys take on venue security - it was a great time!
Super glad he didn’t get me to do a shoey on the last night…
