This finally arrived via international courier last week! I’m so happy “People Like Us: Season 2” was nominated for Best Short Form Series for the 2020 @iemmys . Thank you to all who were part of the season and made it happen. Now who wants a Season 3?

A year ago in April, @loozihan reached out to me about making a documentary about gay/queer Asian adult performers. Immediately I said yes. Because I believe there isn’t enough films about queer Asian people and part of my life’s work is to increase LGBTQ representation in film and TV.
Titled @desirable.content , we’ve sporadically filmed and interviewed @jkabobs , @danielgainsbrook and @damianxdragon in Los Angeles, New York, and Bangkok for a year. It’s been really fascinating to learn about the gay adult industry, its inner workings, and of course, learn about the human side of these performers.
We also applied for grants but with no success yet. So now we are launching a fundraising campaign because we’re close to exhausting our money and need help to make this film happen. Zihan and I are kicking things off with a fundraiser in Singapore on May 26 at @proudspacescentre
