starting with the cover art…the biggest thanks to @lenabanchero2 for creating this beautiful piece. she created something that shows the beauty of the forest and the fear of destruction as fire draws near. I am forever grateful to her for making the visual art to accompany this song that I hold so dear. <3
and to the musicians! @dan_langa ‘s help has been and remains crucial in helping me bring these songs to their recorded selves. He gracefully added organ and rhodes to this song while helping me guide the arrangement to where it is now. I am constantly grateful for his artistic perspective and I want the world to see and hear his talent. On the recording, you will hear @dan_macdonald4 on drums and @123funyayayayayaya on Bass. I’ve had the pleasure of playing with Dan in several @boysgotojupiterband shows and am grateful for his constant uplifting energy in heart and musicianship. I met Anna when we were at jazz camp in high school and am so happy that nyc has led us back to playing together. Anna is a Bass legend and I could not be happier to have witnessed that magic for this song.
