LFC x @nfl | 💁🏾‍♀️🏈 Back in March I received an email from the @nfl inviting me to the Annual Owners Meeting to discuss players embracing fashion, and the overall intersection of style and sports. I nearly fell off my chair in shock. The meeting brings together every owner and head coach in the league, as well as executives, general managers, and a host of NFL staffers to discuss league policies and business affairs. As a football fan I’ve always been so curious about it; my bags were packed the moment I accepted the invitation. The 2026 meeting was held in Phoenix at the @arizonabiltmore , where I had the honor of talking game-day and special occasion drip with my friend and NFL fashion editor @kyleforserious ; @colts cornerback @mooreii ; and @detroitlionsnfl wide receiver @amonra_stbrown . For the discussion, I paired an @aritzia pencil skirt and @miumiu Mary Janes with a @badbunnypr Tee—because fashion can speak volumes about who you are and what you have to say. What better way to get that message across—on that particular stage—than by repping one of my favorite artists, who happened to be the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime performer? Many thanks to @kyleforserious , @ronitlarone and everyone else at the NFL who worked so hard to make this happen. And to Kenny and Amon-Ra for such a wonderful conversation. I never thought my sports fandom would end up being such a big part of my career. I am so grateful that it is.

LFC x Super (Benito) Bowl LX | February 2026 I get my sports fandom from my mom. She loved basketball, boxing and football, and as a Harlem native, she was a @nyknicks , @nygiants and @yankees fan. In the 90s, if the Knicks, @chicagobulls , @utahjazz , @houstonrockets or @suns were playing, the game was on. I’m from the DMV and later moved to Chapel Hill, so if the @commanders or Tar Heels were playing, the game was on. Her favorite shows were @cbssundaymorning , @60minutes and… whatever game was on. I always looked forward to Super Bowl Sunday. For the game, the halftime show, and all the delicious food my mom made, especially her Super Bowl dip. She was an incredible cook and that dip was probably the most basic thing she made, but I loved it. I’m not joking when I say I’ve wanted to go to the Super Bowl for as long as I can remember, and had she had the opportunity, I know my mom would have loved to go too. I had so much fun this weekend—for me, but mostly for her.

LFC x @voguemagazine | October 2025 In honor of the @nyknicks winning the @emirates NBA Cup last night, here’s a flashback to one of my favorite shoots of all time—welcoming @jordanclarksons to NYC with pizza, a bodega run, and ‘fits styled by the one and only @alexanderjulian . I’ve been a fan of Clarkson’s game, quiet confidence, and unparalleled style since he was a rookie on the @lakers , and have since enjoyed his tunnel looks with the @cavs , the @utahjazz and now the Knicks. (Lest we forget that he was part of one of the greatest NBA fashion moments in history: The Cavs in custom @thombrowne suits during the 2018 playoffs, gifted by @kingjames .) After this shoot and interview, I can confirm that Jordan is just as nice as his three-point shot and his LV duffle collection. (And the duffle collection is NICE.) Great day. Great interview. Great shoot. Thanks to all who made it happen (noted below) and Go New York, Go New York, Go. That one afternoon during New York Fashion Week when I succumbed to peer pressure / bullying and let @dressupwithjess take a pic of my outfit. She was doing too much with the video, but in her defense, the @bedvynebrew hat and sheer sequin @baumundpferdgarten skirt were kind of a moment.

LFC x @voguemagazine | September 2025 I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun on set than I did with the @stud.budz . @minnesotalynx guards Natisha Hiedeman (@t5poon ) and Courtney Williams (@courtneywilliams10 ) are beyond hilarious. More importantly, though, they’re genuine and kind, and make everyone in their presence feel so happy and uplifted. Like countless others, I was completely enthralled by their 72-hour live stream during WNBA All-Star Weekend. It was so funny and chaotic. But as I learned in the time since, and during this interview, their platform is about so much more than jokes and basketball and how much they both love baddies (though all of that is very entertaining). All masculine-presenting gay Black women should be able to live as freely and unapologetically as Court and T do, but they know that’s not everyone’s reality. By being themselves, they told me, they hope those who are belittled for their identity feel inspired and lees alone. Amen to that. I can’t thank the Stud Budz enough for bringing their infectious energy to the Vogue studio, and their willingness to talk to me about everything from basketball and going viral to what they both look for in a woman. Consider me a Fan Bud. Snaps to the best team for making this happen: photos by @monsieur_wyzard.tiff ; @devhershey on styling; grooming by @yuuivision ; production, social, and support by the Vogue team— @chloemalle @olivebitties , @gtbirk321 , @tayylashh , @samravin , @maimorsch . | Link in bio.

LFC x @voguemagazine + #dogue | August 2025 I’m late to posting this because I’m still recovering from what sharing the 2025 #dogue cover contest did to my DMs, text messages, email inbox, and sanity (my dog-owning friends and followers are extremely… um… passionate). But alas, here is my contribution. As a big @dbook fan, I was delighted to interview him about his beloved Cane Corsos, Haven and Hector. It was a real treat—pun intended. | Link in bio. 📸 @dbook + @jake_kaz

Met Gala 2025 A look inspired by my @asaprocky + @lewishamilton @voguemagazine covers. The best afternoon getting ready with my ride or die @smartshyra . An unreal @armanibeauty beat by @veronicagaona . Eating greens and cornbread by @chefkwameonwuachi while Stevie Wonder performed a string of hits. @badgalriri telling me how much she liked my story on her man. Wishing my parents were here to witness this all, but knowing that they would love it. The beauty of Blackness on display for the whole world to see. Never in my wildest career dreams did I envision a moment like this. I am so proud of all the work my @voguemagazine colleagues and I did leading up to the the first Monday in May, and remain in awe of the stunning exhibition Monica L. Miller + Andrew Bolton curated for the @metcostumeinstitute — “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” Witnessing all the excitement surrounding this year’s Met Gala and having the opportunity to celebrate and tell stories of Black dandyism was incredibly special. I’m so thankful for my seat at the table on May 5 (Table 38!) and even more thankful for all the family and friends who reminded me that I worked really hard for it. What a time.🙏🏾♥️

LFC x @voguemagazine | May 2025 Years ago, when I learned that there was a Black @f1 driver who was crushing the competition AND showing up to the track in custom Dior, I obviously became a fan. But in the time since, I’ve come to admire @lewishamilton for far more than his deft driving and sartorial prowess. Whether wearing a tee emblazoned with the phrase “Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor” or unflinching calling out racism when he sees it, the motorsport star stands firm in his beliefs—regardless of how uncomfortable it makes some people. I’m also endlessly impressed by Lewis’s @mission44 foundation, which is exposing young people of all backgrounds to STEM studies, and providing them with educational and career opportunities they may otherwise not have. (The chief development officer of Mission44 happens to be my dear friend @jelfy , who I met ages ago when we were both @teachforamerica teachers in Houston. So serendipitous.) Ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, I spoke to Lewis about fashion, history, racing, and what it means to him to be co-chairing a night dedicated to the Black dandy. His words were so poignant that I just went with those. The result was this as-told-to cover story for Vogue. Much like the looks Lewis’s stylist @ericjmcneal pulls for the driver, it was a conversation I’ll never forget. | Link in bio Snaps to the best team in the world: Photographer: Malick Bodian // @malickbodian Co-Fashion Editors: Ib Kamara and Eric McNeal // @ibkamara & @ericjmcneal Braider: Angela Torio Rivera // @ange.thehairess Grooming: Yuko Fredriksson // @yukofredriksson Creative Director: Raul Martinez // @raulmartinez1024 Global Visuals Director EU: Jamie Spence // @jamiedspence Global Entertainment Director: Sergio Kletnoy // @sergiokletnoy Tailor: Judith Grant // @thepinkroomltd Manicurist: Adam Slee // @adamslee_ Set Design: Ibby Njoya // @ibbynjoya Produced by: North Six // @northsix
