📣 Introducing April Online Meet-up speaker, Myfanwy Tristram 📣 We’re delighted to welcome back Myfanwy Tristram to talk about her new graphic novel, Noisy Valley, which is coming out with SelfMadeHero this May. Based on true stories from residents of one small Welsh community, it aims to challenge current narratives of protest as dangerous, unwelcome and increasingly illegal, instead depicting activism as a creative and joyful act. Myf will share how she approached the project, and tell you one big thing that went wrong... so you can avoid doing the same! @myfanwytristram 🔗 Get your ticket for the April Online Meet-up with the link in our bio #comicartists #ldcomics

📣 Introducing our March Online Meet-up speaker, ILYA 📣 ILYA is a UK-based writer/artist who will be discussing the making of his latest Original Graphic Novel, ROMO the WolfBoy. The novel is an all-ages comedic-action-mystery with a period setting, in the plus-text tradition of Posy Simmonds, merged with early newspaper strip graphics. ILYA (Ed) is a near 40-year veteran of international comics, having worked for publishers in the UK, USA, across Europe and even Japan. In his time he’s pretty much done it all: a literal SelfMadeHero. / 🔗 Get your ticket for the March Online Meet-up with the link in our bio #comicartists #LDComics
