Some mornings I stare in the bathroom mirror and sing the month like a conjugated verb. Nov, Novem, November. My favorite month and it moves too quick. Any day now the bulldog-face of Winter will be growling back less politely. Til then I try to sleep a little less and live a little more and savor it just a bit longer so maybe later I can write it all down as best as I can. Like a photo of you looking straight into the lens while your shadow tries to pull you away.
