I’m a freakinnnnn MARATHONER😭🇬🇧 I have no words. 26.2 miles, at 26 years old, on 26th april in 2026🏅 it was truly meant to be. honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and thought it might have been end game at mile 17 but I’m so incredibly proud of what this body can do🥹 that sh*t is HARD but we are HARDER🤟🏻 #londonmarathon #marathon

battersea half marathon🌟🏅🏃🏻‍♀️ my first half marathon !! 2:34:38 ⏰ pbs across the board🥹 in everything 10km+ what the helly ?! I felt good out there (bar 16km😂) and had fairly even splits with an average 7:20 pace!! I was set on 2:40 plus from previous long runs alone, but that really shows how much the crowd can help you rather than going solo🥹 massive thank you to my girls @emilyjanefairs & @aliciadaviesfit for cheering on the course & running with me when I needed it🫶🏻 it hurt at times but I’m proud of lil of me, she really did that🏅 #halfmarathon #running #pb

8 min PB😭🥹 always surround yourself with those who want to see you win🤍 @lilyewen_ my absolute superstar⭐️ this race was a gamble in many ways, after working 3 days straight, pre race wasn’t exactly optimal and was always going to be a challenge in itself😂🎥 but most importantly, after having 4 months off running since my solo/womens doubles last season, which didn’t go as planned due to injury my off season was far from smooth sailing. only 6 weeks worth of running complete and I managed to get to the start line with only a few niggles👏🏻 @lilyewen_ we had a big goal of sub 80, which I believe if we had more time, a bit more work & better pre race conditions is in sight🥹 I cannot thank you enough, you were the speed, the support and you held me together when everything else was telling me no🧠🩵 also big thank you to my coach @coachlyonsfitness @truegritprogramming for getting me to the start with little time to work with💜 @scenebychar smashing it with the content!! what have I been up to post london marathon?🇬🇧🏃🏻‍♀️ taking time off post marathon is so incredibly important, the stress your body goes through is so high and everyone will react differently! as someone who’s job it is to post and show up online, it can be super challenging to think you’re taking too much time - go off feel, you know yourself best😌 for me, the physical fatigue had worn off after a couple days but the mental fatigue was still lingering! I have been sleeping loads but still felt shattered😴 didn’t help that I had a 6 day hyrox bender to attack🎥 & if you know you know, those venues are overstimulation central😂 this is all very normal off the back of an intense training block, be kind to yourself❤️ #marathon #postmarathon
