As we go into the last week of shows, I want to say how grateful I am to be able to perform not only in my home city, but in this BEAUTIFUL theatre.
Growing up, I was part of Leeds Playhouse Youth Theatre, where not only was it a safe space to develop as an actor but also as a young man. I had the privilege of going to see shows that otherwise I would never have seen, and each time it would allow me to dream that one day it could be me.
I don’t think I really grasped the importance of that time until I got older. Leeds Playhouse Youth Theatre allowed me to believe in the unachievable.
I was told from early on that this career was only a fantasy and youth theatre allowed me to start changing that fantasy into a reality. I am forever thankful for the playhouse for lighting that spark in me. Having said that, that spark wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the amazing youth theatre
leaders and I can’t put into words how much I owe to them. (Shoutout @elvipiper@woffindengemma@k_pennycook )
I have loved this job for so many reasons but hearing kids that sound like me and look like me, telling me that this is the first time coming to the theatre and how much they have loved watching the Enormous Crocodile, has been a strong and emotional reminder of why I love being an actor.
Here’s to breaking any fantasy and making it into a reality.

Well RCS, you have been a CHALLENGE but it’s nice to say goodbye properly. I am forever grateful for the memories and experiences.
Thank you to anyone who has supported me through the years. Honestly couldn’t have done it without you.
Now to continue to make young Lawrence proud and live out his dreams.
The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart - @rxtheatre
I have had the best time on this crazy show. (Minus the part where I ripped a ligament in my thumb 😵💫) Getting to sing @lilnasx everyday, being in the MOST beautiful theatre and getting to work with best people is a blessing.
Shows running until 15th January.
Come and join us on a journey to Hell and back 😈

Today was the first day we were able to stand on the Olivier stage and it STILL doesn’t seem real. Working with everyone on the DW team is a blessing.
Not long now until we are open.
