I'm my ancestors' wildest dream! My father passed when I was 3, and my mother when I was 5. At 57, my grandmother became both my mother and father. She raised me to be fearless and showed me so much love through all my experimental phases. I feel like I kept her on her toes—short hair one day, locs the next, a forehead tattoo, quitting my salary job, starting a business and moving to California in a truck. Sometimes she didn't get it and would tease me, yet she always showed me so much love and would share all my stories with her friends.
Our tradition of her singing me "Happy Birthday" never stopped, even when her breathing became difficult. This year has been amazing. All the hard work I put into my new career is paying off, and sharing every moment with my little lady fills my soul with joy. Her pride in me is the only reward I need. Forty-one years just wasn't enough time, but I will continue to live as her wildest dream!

Don't be fooled by what it looks like on the outside... this creative road looks pretty but, I'll be 100% with you! That shit is ghetto, bumpy and got mad potholes. U the driver though so u can get mad, be defeated and complain or u can laugh, have fun acting like u now got hydraulics!
Everyone's been asking about my dress & coat. My sis @keyzbelieveme painted it for me. She's a singer songwriter but, she does like 80 other things to one of them is painting!
I'm feeling so thankful and blessed! This night showing of our movie #AVA @paffnow was a dream! Thanks to everyone who showed up and supported! I really appreciate it!

I moved to LA in 2019 with the dream of being a costume designer. Since then, I've costume designed 2 feature films, 2 commercials, and 7 short films! 🎬👗 It's been a long and crazy road with COVID and the strike, but things are looking up! 🙌💪
