Guided by our local heroes and brought to life from shared passions in our community, we capture their musical essence, locked in time on sacred soil. Episode 5 features Phia—a local veteran and leading voice in our techno community. Over the years she has shaped the scene as a promoter, producer, and DJ, curating events that have left a lasting impression and a pivotal contributor to our city’s underground scene. She is also the founder of Syllabus Recordings—an emerging label dedicated to raw, hypnotic, and immersive sounds promoting rising artists in Australia and across the globe. For this final chapter of Echoes, Phia leads us to the outer edges of dark, hypnotic techno. A set that finds its intensity not through excess, but through restraint—culminated by stripped-back selections, deliberate layering, and rising tension.
