Why do so many cultures have dragon legends? | TED-Ed Animation
.
Early last year, I had the pleasure of directing this animated video for
@tededanimation with
@preethamdraws over at
@lanlan.in .
This fantastic (and fantastical) lesson about ‘geomythology’ was so fun to work on, and getting to build visuals related to dragon myths(!!!) was an absolute joy for both of us!
We wanted a style that captured the beauty and hype of dragons, but was also soft and easy to absorb while listening to this incredibly educational and insightful lesson by Timothy J. Burbery, narrated so wonderfully by Alexandra Panzer.
The beautiful music and sound design by
@andreairesaugusto brought the whole thing together and added so many layers of epicness that a lesson focused on dragons rightfully deserves.
And none of this would’ve been possible in the first place without
@abdallah_ewis , whose only credit that would ever make sense to me is that of the most kind and wonderful human being one could ever ask to work with.
