i can’t remember a time in the past 2 years that i wasnt working on or thinking about this film. its had so many phases + forms, so many stops + starts, so many incredible people involved.. but it always felt like it’d never actually get there
thanks to @caviar.tv we managed to shoot most of it last summer (quite psychotically 10 days after my hen do and 10 days before my wedding) and thanks to the teeny tiny island i call home coming through with funding, it now looks like it might actually *finally* get finished. thanks @arthousejersey for your support - it means the world!

‘Delivery’ has been longlisted for Best Short at the British Independent Film Awards 🎉
This is such a proud moment for myself, the film’s producers Bophanie and Joe, our lead actor and midwife Rosie Chappel, all our heads of department, and everyone else who has believed in this project and worked so hard to bring this story to life over the last two years.
For me personally, having for so long pored over the films and filmmakers on these annual lists, which always serve as a north star for our year in British Cinema—something I care so deeply about—this is very special.
