So full of yummy cake, and feeling full of gratitude to our hosts @salthousemorocco , who have gone out of their way to welcome us and provide a ‘home away from home’ - From yummy home made birthday cake, to private tours of the best spots, surf, souks, beaches, hamams, music and more. They have gone out of their way to show us a real ‘taste’ of Moroccan culture. All done out of the kindness of their hearts and with no desire for any (monetary) exchange.

Just out of a self enforced social media hiatus, hence the late sharing of my BEST of 2020....

LOVE HER! LOVE this FACE 💓...The pure, joy, serenity & bliss being radiated, after having just done a tough 2 hour hike / ascent up a ridiculously steep mountain... only to be told is was ‘just a hill’!
.
I don’t know her that well, I don’t get to connect with her as frequently as I’d like! This rare and natural beauty sometimes remains hidden, mysteriously choosing to emerge from her natural habitat under ‘prime’ conditions, and hardly ever photographed. 😅
.
My goal of 2021 is to connect more consistently with the inner state of joy, this pure feeling that is strong enough to shine, through ‘disappointment’ (Being told that your perceived achievement, of mountain climbing is more akin to hill walking! 🤷🏽♀️) - To try to not let the inner state (of bliss) be too affected by the outward fluctuations of daily life 🌟

I used this past month to take time to take stock of the past year, which has been pretty tumultuous, uncertain and disappointing for all, and connect with moments of gratitude.
.
May we all find a way to vibe in the face of disappointment. Grateful to @deve_a_a capturing a side of me that I hardly get to see 📸🌟💓

There is something equally thrilling & satisfying about watching each shoot at it emerges. Playing witness as the bud unfurls into a leaf, as flower emerges from a nodule, as the flower develops into a fruit. All without the help of harmful pesticides or fertilisers.

It’s helped me to develop my nurturing side as well as consistency & patience, for which I am enernally grateful🙏🏽

I went for a lovely walk with my mum, in the fields and woodland at the back of her house.

What ensured was an impromptu, but fun, foraging session. We thanked the earth for its beautiful bounty, all growing wild literally a stones throw from where I grew up. Blackberries, elderberries and wild apples

Next time we plan to take Tupperware, as we would like to make jam together ❤️
