Excited to announce that I’m the first artist of a new deep listening series called ‘singing stones’. I’ll be playing a meditative 3-hour set at petersham bowling club, sunday may 10th, 6-9pm. It will be a lying down event, feel free to bring a yoga mat, pillow or whatever you need to be comfortable! Arrive and leave whenever you’d like to, there will be no defined start or end point. Here’s a bit more about the series itself:
Singing Stones is a deep listening event centred on a meditative and immersive experience of music and sound. This is a space where presence and performance blends into one. We encourage minimal social interaction so that you can disconnect and tune into the sound.
The night features a single artist, invited to explore a long form set of 3 hours. Artists are also invited to use light, sculpture, movement, or costume design to shape the environment into an immersive experience for the audience. With no definitive genre for the evening, we welcome ambient, experimental, noise and electronic music with a focus on long form sets and sonic meditations.
Held in the early evening on the second Sunday of each month, Singing Stones offers a space to unwind before the week begins.
It is an opportunity to recalibrate your senses and listen deeply.
The series will kick off with Eora/Sydney based artist Land Systems, the melodic ambient project of Nathan Moas. His music explores the more ethereal aspects of ambient music, combining slow-evolving melodies with lush effect processing. Central to the project is a eurorack modular synthesizer that is sequenced and looped, allowing his performances to be improvised and exploratory.

Happy Halloween! Oh and happy double album week! Entropy Asleep came out yesterday and Live is out today.
For those that are familiar with my music, Entropy Asleep combines the ethereal melodic passages of Beached Eternal with the ‘journey-like’ pacing of Elm, but with more of a nocturnal, darker aesthetic.
Live on the other hand is a recently captured live performance (my first live album if you will). It is completely improvised, a free-flowing moment that is gentle and exploratory. Every melody was inputted by my hands through a keyboard, and all of those sounds then overlap across longform loops.
I’m hosting a guided walking event tomorrow night for these two albums. If you’re interested in joining me, join my mailing list at the link in my bio, or send me an email - [email protected] - and I’ll send you the info
Got together with @land.systems and went for a walk round kangaroo creek in royal national park. We captured some high quality field recordings of the creek and are excited to be releasing them under the moniker ‘Kancre’. Kangaroo Creek will be available on platforms from July 6.

our final musical guest is the unmissable duo: skrogg vorbis. A collaboration between inspired musicians @land.systems & @dougwright_
skrogg vorbis is the collaborative live project of Doug Wright (Hed Ardennes, aka skrogg) and Nathan Moas (Land Systems, aka vorbis). through downtempo bug-infested swamps to ethereal melodies from the stratosphere, skrogg vorbis aims to take a path through electronic music that is playful, slow-evolving and nomadic. at the heart of the duo is a shared interest in exploring electronic music through improvisation, resulting in a process of performance that is more about playing than it is about programming.
transcendent sonic universes with skrogg vorbis, this is not a set you will want to miss. catch them on sunday the twenty-second of june in our sold out repurposed warehouse dwelling
A Lighthouse - Landsystems (Elm: 2021) available on streaming services and bandcamp
Good morning and surprise! I have two new songs out today ~ ‘Pin the Sun / Allostasis’
They’re a mix of lush piano, shimmery pads, clicky drums and big sub. I would describe them as being reflective, relaxed and beautiful, and would say they are at a crossroads of artists like four tet, max cooper and kiasmos. They evoke a sense of wonder and inspiration in me and I feel incredibly proud of them. Hope you enjoy!! Link in bio and story.
