skrogg is the coming together of two of Eoraâs brightest production minds - Doug Wright and Nathan Moas. Their sound is swampy, dubby, and fully live and improvised.
Doug Wright is a highly versatile producer and songwriter. His career began releasing music under the widely adored project Fishing, alongside fellow Eora based artist Russell Fitzgibbon. Since then he has been deeply entrenched in the local scene, as a session musician for Cloud Control and Vlossom as well as moving dancefloors around the country as part of DJ duo Body Promise.Â
Land Systems is the melodic ambient project of Eora/Sydney-based producer Nathan Moas. His music explores the more ethereal aspects of ambient music by combining slow-evolving melodies with lush effect processing. Central to the project is a eurorack modular synthesizer that is keyboard-controlled, sequenced and looped, which allows his performances to be completely live and ever changing.

My contribution to the @local_.knowledge mix series just went up, it was a joy putting this together. It moves through some of the things Iâve been seeking out in music recently - a sense of space, warm soothing bass movement, a bit of a tense or anxious feeling creeping in the fringes. Iâve found listening and leaning into these moods really calming and soothing atm so I wanted to channel this vibe in case it offered anyone else that kind of experience.
