Last Sunday was special.
I had the opportunity to co-produce an intimate gathering with Charlotte Moore and Alexander Blanc for @wearevalues in support of Black and Jewish America: An Interwoven History on PBS.
This four part series, led by Henry Louis Gates Jr., explores the rich and complex relationship between Black and Jewish communities rooted in shared history, culture, and connection.
We brought that story into the room
a powerful fireside chat
live jazz setting the tone
and a brunch that turned into a real chat and chew conversation flowing directly from the dialogue
Moments like this remind me that the best experiences sit at the intersection of culture, community, and storytelling.
More than an event it was a space.
