Over the past few years, I pride myself in being a documentarian and telling real life stories through cinematography, interviews and capturing moments. So happy to have been the creative chair and creative directed this year’s creative classic with the theme edge of tomorrow: all or nothing. I pride myself in being a creative strategist and always collaborating with other areas of production, art and music to reach broader audiences and inspire the masses. The event was SOLD OUT over 400+ attendees. I’m so proud of all the chairs, the artists, and the staff.

For a long time I’ve been saying I needed to do a gospel video and I got to do it for the extremely talented @dionsimmons_ ‘s first single as an artist. What a sincere and heartfelt message penned as a love letter to God turned into a song. Thank you for your artistry and thank you for choosing me to bring this vision to life. In honor of A different world rebooting. I wanted to remake one of my favorite scenes from the show where Whitley and Dwayne had an intimate moment during the holidays. A show that truly showcased black love, black excellence and inspired most of us to attend HBCU’s even 30+ years later.
This is an appreciation and a modern interpolation of what Whitley and Dwayne would be like today. Shoutout to @therealdebbieallen@iamjasmineguy & @kadeemhardison for inspiring us with your art.

Today’s my birthday!
But instead of just celebrating my birthday I wanted to take time to acknowledge the fact that it is Men’s Mental Health month.
Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for Black men and we live in a society where society doesn’t seem to care. One thing I know for sure is that Black women have always been there to support and care for black men more than anyone else has. As a filmmaker, it is my duty to not only entertain but inform and all my projects exude love.
Here’s “Flowers to men” a short love letter from Black women to Black men. Brothers stay strong and happy mental health month to us all.
