i maded some art
At @radiantbeerco , we do a cool bimonthly art gallery with local artists who can submit art in any medium to grace our walls. They send out their light and beautify our space and they keep all the proceeds if their pieces sell.
For December, @christopherdukekent had the bright idea to do a full employee art gallery, so a bunch of us maded some art to hang ahead of the holidays. It’s my first time displaying anything, hope you enjoy 🐱

Say hi to Izzy, the newest LA Beer Cat 🐱
Izzy (short for Isabella) is a sweet 7-week old tuxedo kitty we just adopted yesterday! She came from a feral mama in a litter of six birthed in a woodshop in Anaheim and we did not know what to expect when we brought her home.
But we’re happy to report after a deep and thorough flea bath and setting her up in her own room (quarantined from Birmy and Kara from the next few weeks), she’s rambunctious, cuddly, playful, and has quite an appetite.
We’re looking forward to introducing her to the cats after she gets all her shots - and man will Birmy be happy to not have his favorite room closed off.
Stay tuned for her first legit Beer Cat shoot - you know, when she weights more than 1.75 lbs 😹

…Because now some of the beers she’s drinking have labels designed by Dad!
ʜᴀʟꜰ ᴏᴠᴇʀ ᴚƎᗡN∩ NMOᗡ by @farfieldbeer is one of the latest - a DDH Hazy IPA comprised of a hop bill that’s half American, Half New Zealand/Australian. It’s a double dry-hopped, topsy turvy globetrotter of flavor with a firm bitterness, lime, pine, and passionfruit.
I would go 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪…
A sunny Long Beach evening called for a measured sipper, so we opted for the @commoncornersbrewing farmhouse ale that had been bottle conditioning through two different residences since being gifted by @justinmaz & @brunchistight months ago.
XT5 and @karatheexplara in tow, we headed right outside to our first apartment patio, dripping in dusky rays. The rustic green 750 reflected as brightly as the first tart aromas from the first crack. This was lovingly crafted and oozing with raspberry in every direction; from the crimson red pour to the off-pink head. Bright, effervescent, nuanced, with beautiful retention and lacing on the glass. Spritzy, pleasantly tart, and loaded with red currant character and a final kiss of gourmet hard candy boasting the same color.
