Im not Haitian, but that story has always inspired me and fascinated me.
If you want to know why Haiti has been in the shape it’s been in, it is because America & France, has punished Haiti for revolting against slavery and has pillaged it’s natural resources while keeping their government and economy unstable through assassinations, coups, and more.
The Eiffel Tower in Paris was funded by the Billions that The French Bank siphoned from Haiti.
Haiti has been punished and forced to pay reparations because their former enslavers “lost their property”.
Haiti is the reason the United States of America was able to expand and become a global economic power.
France was so devastated by being defeated and driven from Haiti, that they sold all of their land in America to the USA for $15M. DOUBLING THE SIZE OF USA…

The @activelyblack x @officialmrtendernism Collab almost never happened.
I received a random call one night from a man who claimed to have the trademark for “TENDERNISM” and I initially thought he was trying to take advantage of Walt.
We won’t share what I said, but let’s just say I wasn’t too happy about someone trying to do business with @activelyblack while taking advantage of this Black Man.
Luckily Ken Harris called me back and explained that he was a lawyer who grabbed the trademark for TENDERNISM so that he could transfer the ownership to Walt before anybody else could get it.
This is just part of the story that we talk about in an interview with Ken Harris, Walt Johnson and a very special surprise guest that showed Unc’s soft spot.

It’s been incredible to watch in real time how you have embraced and adjusted to motherhood.
The way you care for and love our son is one of the most beautiful things I have been able to witness.
But seeing the way you handle motherhood while still running a fast growing business, taking care of home, taking care of yourself, me, and everything else… just inspires me to go harder to make sure you and Tou are always taken care of.

Cecil Williams is mostly known for his famous picture drinking out of a whites only water fountain during Jim Crow.
But Cecil’s defiance against the racist laws started long before that image was taken in 1958.
Check out this clip of Cecil sharing the story of his childhood act of rebellion when Black kids could not play on certain playgrounds.
It’s safe to say that Cecil aint ever been scared.
And given the direction this country is headed in by rolling back Voting Rights and Civil Rights, the @activelyblack Tribe is letting it be known that we aint scared either.

Time has been used as a weapon by white america.
They tell you slavery, Black codes, Redlining, Lynching, Jim Crow etc was so long ago and to get over it.
As if Time erases what they have done or that there aren’t generational effects and trauma.
The illusion of so much time being passed is just a psychological trick to hide their past and make you forget, so they can run the same plays again.
They are going to celebrate 250 years of America this year.
For 190 of those 250 years, slavery, racial discrimination and terror were LEGAL in America.
Remember, the oppressors plan their evil in DECADES while we are distracted with daily survival.
They have been planning for this moment since 1965.
This is what MAGA means.
Its a miracle what Black people have been able to accomplish in just 60 years after 400 years of slavery and oppression.
Imagine where Black people would be if the starting line was equal…
They actually KNOW they are not superior.
Thats the source of their insecurity, jealousy and hate.
If you can only win with a rigged game, what does that say about how good you actually are?
They crying about 4 years of DEI and 1 Black President 😂😂😂
Now they are “oppressed” 😂😂😂

More importantly, they carry the legacy of the Heroes and Revolutionaries of our people.
They are living proof that no matter what this country has tried to do to erase our people, we have ALWAYS had Revolutionaries that fought back.
You can murder a Revolutionary, but you can’t murder a Revolution.
It is our generation’s turn to fight.

They pulled the funding for Cecil’s new Civil Rights Museum in South Carolina.
This administration is on a mission to destroy any progress that was made.
I’ve talked to Cecil and he is extremely disappointed.
It’s hard to fathom someone who lived through Jim Crow and got to see the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act be passed, and in the same lifetime has to watch society roll it back.
We are going to do everything we can to help Cecil fund his Civil Rights Museum
We’ve increased the % of sales we pay him for every piece of his collection we sell.
We had to depend on US before, and it’s time we choose US again without them having to pass Jim Crow laws that force us to support our own.
