3 live setups originating from Chicago, The Hague and Berlin will deep dive into complex sound processing. Using objects, electro-digital transformation, movement and voice they stretch and relieve perception.
Liza Kuzyakova is a composer and sound artist based between The Hague and Berlin.
Her practice centres on investigating perceptual tensions that occur within auditory phenomena and their interrelations with acoustic and material conditions. Space and texture - serve as points of departure for her detailed works and extend in a live setting with her music project Sáof.

Mikhail Khokhlov aka MK is an electronic musician and artist based in Chicago. Complex dynamic transformations and formalized iterative gestures through the use of computers and live hardware instrumentation characterize his compositional modalities. Acoustic bricolage and phonic transfiguration are defining aural sensibilities – textural residues perceived from the intersection of metricated performative syntax and sonorous portraiture is of thematic concern in Khokhlov’s work.

Chicago based composer Hanna Elliotts deals with themes of libidinal physicality, tactility, and tumultuous introspection. Her project Bakantez sonically consists of electro-acoustic sampling, sequencing, synthesis, and processed vocals reminiscent of sound collage, minimal wave, and noise. Her new work uses self made objects that translate movement into tools for sonic manipulation.

As a DJ at the border between coruscating sentiment and desolate surrender, Nina summons enough of an intuition about a space and its dynamics to prompt a club’s darkness to cave to her selection, to have the darkness address you personally. With her closest, Tobias, known as Dj Good News she started the V I S Label in 2015.
