Another book I was privileged to help write is coming out on September 8 from @rizzolibooks , and is now available for preorder on their website. “Reflections of Place” is a survey of fourteen quietly elegant, carefully thought out, beautifully detailed landscape projects by the team at @dangordonla , atmospherically captured by photographers @landinophoto and @crucinski_ . It was a pleasure getting to work with editor Stacee Gravelle Lawrence of @cydoniaeditions as well as with Dan and his colleagues—and I can’t wait to have a copy in hand! The April 2026 issue of @archdigest includes a story I had the privilege to write, about how designer @ryanclawson and @seanbrobins of @studiovandenakker reworked a midcentury modern residence in Palm Springs as their forever home. Had a great conversation with the panel at last week’s B/A/D Talk at the @bostondesigncenter . Holly Charbonnier of @hutkerarchitects , Manny Makkas of @makkasdrapery , Caleb Johnson of @woodhullmaine , and Timothy Downing of @dandco.studio shared a ton of helpful insights on how high-end residential architecture, design, and building companies can better define exactly who they are and connect with the prospective clients who will be the best match.
