I’ve been sitting on these but in November I turned 30 and got a haircut so naturally I booked new headshots with @dumont.visuals and they turned out pretty rad 🪷
A prestigious New York play by the burgeoning creative duo of playwright Sarah Motz and director Melissa Stone comes to debut in its written location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Three of the hopeful auditioners are a group of recent theater school grads, Dean, Mike, and Noah. Their tight-knit friendship complicates as they manage their career plans and anticipate the results of the big audition.
The Auditioneers is the first full length play I’ve ever written and I’m very excited to be staging it in full at the Tank!! Will be acting in it along with some of my best buddies @davislennonclark and @zach.speigel . The play will be directed by the very talented @kvaish . The Whale Watch Reading Series is a festival of new work brought to you by Sarah Groustra and four fellow emerging playwrights who became fast friends at a writing conference in the crisp, glacial, and mountainous air of Alaska: Zach Barr, Emma Durbin, Kanika Vaish, and Nina Kissinger (scroll for pics from Alaska including some whales we saw there 👀)
Inspired by each other’s writing and the desire to both build community together and invest in each other’s creative careers, we are bringing four plays in one weekend (January 3-5, 2025) to New York City’s East Village Basement.

i loved getting to work on this play by the prolific @adityalc . it’s a collection of framed, gorgeous, unreliable, hilarious, and deeply moving memories through one woman’s mind as she learns how to conquer her own worst fears, heal, and find beauty again. if you come see it, i guarantee you will find it too. i felt seen by this play and how messy the characters get to be, and learned to find new beauty and love for myself. 🤎
