The 9th edition of 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗢𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 has begun! The multidisciplinary festival examines the Palestinian issue through a critical lens. Featuring approximately thirty activities across the city, the festival provides a platform for reflection and solidarity through art, debates, and lectures.
From April 27 to May 13, you can visit Kunsthal Gent for film screenings, an exhibition, workshops, talks, and a book launch—each organized in collaboration with a partner organization. This Friday we start with the first events:
— Nazeh Map: exhibition by Gazan artists Hala E. T. Alnaji, Alaa Mahdi Kudaih and Mahmoud Abu Hamda
@hala_alnaji @alaamahdikudaih @mahmoudhamda
@fasila.collective
— Friday Evening: a conversation regarding the book ‘Between Reality and Documentary’ by Shahd Abusalama, with the author in attendance
@shahdabusalama
— Workshop ‘Gaza Beyond The Map’: a workshop that activates an engraved map of Gaza as a site of collective memory and reflection
